Why is my Zebra printer printing partial or extra blank labels?
If your Zebra printer is only printing the top portion of the label, or outputting extra blank labels, you may need to calibrate it. This is advisable when setting up a printer for the first time or when changing label rolls. To perform calibration:
Zebra ZP-450 and ZP-500
- Turn the printer on and wait for a sold green light
- Press and hold down the feed button
- The light will first flash once, then twice. Release the button after it flashes twice.
- The printer will perform calibration, outputting approximately two blank labels.
Zebra LP2844
- Press and hold the feed button on the top of the printer
- This will re-calibrate the label feed
