When are FedEx email notifications sent?

If you have ship notifications enabled, FedEx servers will send an email notification when label is created for Express shipments or upon first scan for Ground shipments. The sender of these emails will be TrackingUpdates@fedex.com. Additional notifications can be sent at the time of exception or delivery.
